The Varsity II (also called just plain Varsity or Varsity Theater) is in Campustown on Lincoln Way (map). It generally plays lower-distribution films, such as artsy stuff and documentaries. If you're a film snob or hate comfortable chairs, this is the place for you.
It is an old theater; saying it has 'character' would be putting it nicely. The theaters are the size of postage stamps and the chairs are uncomfortable. But hey, if this theater's playing a movie you want to see, you can pretty much guarantee it'll be the only place playing it.
