One of the longer-staying students at ISU, Kate managed to graduate with B.Sci.s in mechanical engineering and mathematics.

While at ISU, Kate was involved in a variety of activities, having flirted with total apathy to student government, from studying abroad to playing with robots and unix. And, of course, Strangetalk. Of the more professionally bent organizations, she was involved with the Society_of_Women_Engineers, Math_Club, the Association_of_Mechanical_Engineers, Institute_of_Electrical_and_Electronics_Engineers, the Computer_Science_Club, and the Order_of_the_Engineer.

These days, things are simpler. School. Home. Knitting. Cooking. Forum administrative junk.

Alas, she did graduate and move away from Ames, and now she's a graduate student at Iowa, where she studies mechanical and electrical engineering. Go Hawks!
