The real story about this house, located on Hyland Avenue, is sketchy. According to unverifiable sources, the nearby Collegiate Presbyterian Church owned the house. No longer seeing it as a viable source of income, they decided to evict the residents with a very untimely notice (is that even legal?). The graffiti was probably due to the angered residents who felt betrayed and violated.

On the day of demolition, about one or two months after the graffiti was made (and had since been painted over) the building started smoking and the fire department was summoned to neutralize it. Since the building had already been emptied at this point, no one was hurt. The cause of the smoke/fire was not known.

We really need sources from news and possibly interviews etc. This happened in broad daylight, and there's even fire and stuff. There were lots of onlookers and photographers. Somebody out there has got to know the truth.
