while your natural instincts may be to go home during the summer, you may want to consider staying in Ames:

  1. In the summer, there's half as many people. That means fewer pedestrians, and your favorite Bars, Restaurants, and Movie theaters, and Music venues won't be as packed.
  2. Summer classes (though not necessary to stay) are ridiculously easy.
  3. Chicks wearing as little clothing as possible, if you dig that sort of thing.
  4. Dudes without shirts, if you dig that sort of thing.
