Sloss House is located south of Curtiss Hall and to the north-west of the Gerdin Business Building. It is home to the Margaret Sloss Women's Center.
Sloss House was built in 1883 to house Professor Charles Bessey. It later housed a series of groundskeepers and superintendents including Thomas Sloss, who lived there longer than anyone else, remodeled it and eventualy lent his name to the building. The women's center that now occupies the building was named after his daughter, Margaret Sloss.
