Rofflehaus is an Ames, Iowa based Web Application/ Food Delivery service.
Ok, so Rofflehaus started as a joke, but its become much more than that.
Rofflehaus focuses primarily on ISU, Ames, and random funny stuff that crops up every now and then.

- 22:59 June 30, 2005 — Rofflehaus came online.
- 00:08 July 1, 2005 — A link was posted to the creative arts forum of Strangetalk.
- 00:15 July 4, 2005 — Rofflehaus became self-aware.
[edit] Technical
The Rofflehaus website is hosted on a student's computer at ISU. It runs the Gentoo Linux operating system. The actual software is called a wiki; wikis allow anyone to edit any page on the website. Rofflehaus uses mediawiki, the same software package used by the popular Wikipedia site. MySQL is the backend database server. The webserver is powered by the Apache webserver and uses PHP Hypertext Preprocessor.
