Reverse Campaniling was an event held by the Iowa State LGBTAA for many years. While Campaniling occured at midnight, reverse campaniling took place at noon. In the Fall 2001 the ISU LGBTAA decided to do away with reverse campaniling as attitudes on campus were more friendly towards same-sex couples and the group felt that holding such an event undercut their goal of making same-sex couples mainstream.
