We've got questions and we could use answers:

  • If you have a question, then add it and sign it
  • If you can answre a question, then add it underneath (with two asterisks), sign it, and then strike out the question.

it's as simple as that.

Additionally, if you feel kind enough, leave a message on the user's talk page that you answered it.

The point is that unanswered questions don't go forgotten.

  • Ok, this one will test your research abilities. Under the Morrill Act of 1862, 30,000 acres were given per congressional representative. Today Iowa has 7: 2 senators + 5 representatives. However, in 1862 Iowa was granted 240,000 acres of land which means we've lost a rep in 160 years. Where can I validate this? Cburnett 00:31, 15 Jul 2005 (CDT)

  • Is it true that Forward was once (nearly?) drowned in the (1993?) flood?
  • Is it true that the blue sculpture in front of Design Building was actually an abandoned project by a student, and the university just didn't feel like paying to move it?

  • Supposedly, when it was still in use, the water in Marston Water Tower was regularly tested by students as part of a class activity. One time they found the level of contamination had skyrocketed above the normal level. Attributing it to experimental error, they retested the water and arrived at the same conclusion. They decided to check up on it and found that birds were able to get in through a broken panel. Trapped inside they died, and that's what contaminated the water. Can anyone verify this?
  • Supposedly, there's a petrified moose or something like that in Morrill Hall.
    • There were many stuffed animals in a museum in Morrill Hall. They have since moved to the basement of Science 1. There is a penguin, an armadillo, a black bear cub, and some other weird stuff there. It's pretty scary actually. --Talenos
