Another one of Bi-Fi Records' signature bands, Poison Control Center (or PCC, if you're totally hip) are definitely an Ames favorite. PCC is known for their raucous live performances involving the full splits, as well as some damn catchy and well written tunes. Here's a bio:
The Poison Control Center are a psych-pop band that hail from Ames, IA. Their music usually in song cycles, has an amazingly fluid arrangement of melodies, lyrics, and sounds that flow together into a whole creating its own magical world.
