Patrick Kavanagh

Patrick Kavanagh is a mainstay of the Mechanical Engineering department. After graduating with a BS from the department in 1952, he left for a while to work in the aviation industry, then came back to study and teach. He got his Masters from ISU in 1960 and his doctorate in 1964, and has been with the department ever since.

Even though he retired at the end of 1995, Dr. Kavanagh has stayed on with the department doing program development work and still teaches a class here and there.
