Olde Main Brewing Company is a highly-hyped restaurant and Ames' first microbrewery.
Notable for brewing its own beer...unfortunately, at least when it opened up, none of the beers were particularly up to par with what you could find at franchise Rock Bottom in Des Moines. Their "Red Monkey" root beer is tasty, if overly sweet.
