Occupancy Ordinance

So it's been on the books for a long time, but not enforced. It seems that in most of Ames, there is a limitation that "no more than three unrelated adults may occupy the same house". Naturally, there are exceptions, like apartment buildings, and some places very near to campus. However, the rest of us are screwed.

It doesn't even matter how big your driveway is or how many rooms are in the house. Many students simply roll the dice and have extra roommates anyhow, reasoning that they save enough money that even if they get fined they're still ahead.

It was pretty dormant until Fern Kupfer (see: fucking bitch) brought it up again. I hope she rots in hell.

Ordinance IS enforced in the form of "random" inspections by the city. They have to give you at least a days warning though.
