The Department of Mechanical Engineering is part of the College of Engineering. Its home is the Black Engineering Building with other facilities in Hoover Hall, Howe Hall and the Nuclear Engineering Laboratory. Research areas include Thermal Systems, Mechanical Systems, Micro/Nano Systems and Virtual Reality Applications.
