May Day was a celebration to honor the women of the senior class that was held from 1907 to 1922 when it combined with VEISHEA and ended in 1933. May Day was started by Winifred Tilden and the first May Day was held on May 18, 1907.

On good-weathered days, May Day was held on Central Campus but would otherwise be held in the State Gymnasium.
