An assistant professor in the Computer Science department. Originally from Germany, he speaks with a strong German accent, but his English is excellent and thoroughly intelligible. One quirk is his pronunciation of the word 'target' as 'tarjet.'

His lectures are well organized and well prepared. His assignments are meaningful and relevant. His grading is fair and prompt. His projects can be daunting, but attempt to teach the lessons of the course directly. He also has a somewhat goofy sense of humor, which make his lectures that much more enjoyable.

A very good professor.

On the other hand, he's a self-absorbed jerkass. He berates anyone who comes into his classroom late, yet routinely goes over the time limit. While his accent is more intelligible than most non-native speakers, some have problems with the high pitch of his voice.

A very mediocre professor.
