Margaret Hall
From Rofflehaus
Margaret Hall was a small dormitory to accomodate about 100 women. It was built 1894 to 1895 and named after Margaret MacDonald Stanton and was approximately located where LeBaron Hall stands today.
In 1915, a swimming pool was added to the basement.
Margaret Hall was primarily for undergradutes but was switched to graduate housing in 1929 with the availability of other undergraduate housing.
On April 9, 1938, a fire — believed to have started from the basement — destroyed Margaret Hall.
