Rofflehaus is back in style! We've upgraded the server software and solved that pesky "nobody can make an account" problem, so feel free to login or sign-up and start libeling local businesses like back in the day.

This Month in ISU History
February 1: In 1885, Joseph Budd ended his acting presidential role when Leigh Hunt becomes 3rd president of ISU.

February 2: In 1983, men's basketball player Curtis Stinson is born.

February 12: In 2002, Royce Hooks allegedly participated in a gangbang. Although he was acquitted, he was still dismissed from the football team.

February 13: In 1860, William Buckingham Welch was born to ISU's 1st president Adonijah Welch.


This Month in Ames History
February 3: In 2003, based on his interpretation of the state and local law, Steve Schainker ruled that unless restroom facilities be made available for Smiles & Gyros, the gyro stand license would be revoked.

February 14: In 1978, Soper's Mill Bridge is added to the National Register of Historic Places.

February 14: In 2004, without retracting Steve Schainker's previous ruling, Ames allowed Smiles & Gyros to stay, but only because Kum & Go had agreed to provide restroom access for gyro stand customers.

February 21: In 2003, mayor Ted Tedesco declares this day to be Rice Krispie Day in Ames after students set the world's record for the largest Rice Krispie treat during the 2001 VEISHEA.
