Knapp Hall was a residence hall in the Towers Residence Association and one of the Towers. It was destroyed on July 19, 2005. See Knapp-Storms implosion. The fence visible in the picture is unrelated to the aforementioned explosion. As most Knapp Hall residents may remember, the fence stood for many years not because Towers was really the projects, but to protect the current residents from being hit by falling pieces of the crumbling exterior walls of Knapp Hall and Storms Hall.
