Kansas is a state to the left and down from Iowa. It is home to two Big 12 opponents. Kansas University in Lawrence, home of the Jayhawks and Kansas State University, in Manhattan, home of the Wildcats.

Kansas University is typically very good at basketball, while being rather poor at football.

Kansas State University has been very good at football in the past, but haven't done well recently.
