Interstate 35 (or I-35) is one of the two north-south interstates through Iowa(the other being I-29). I-35 essentially runs down the center of the state, and passes through or near the cities of Mason City, Ames, and Des Moines.

I-35 runs from Laredo, Texas to Duluth, Minnesota:

• Waco, Texas
• Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas
• Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
• Wichita, Kansas
• Kansas City, Missouri/Kansas
