ISU building categorization proposal

Over on RH:PP I proposed we do something about the organization of Category:ISU. Here is my proposal. Please discuss this on the talk page. --daoist 07:23, 5 Jul 2005 (CDT)

• ISU
  • (other non-building ISU subcategories)
  • ISU buildings (flat, organized by building name. No organizational sub-categories)
  • ISU places (organizational-subcategories based on logical grouping)
    • Residence halls
      • RCA (etc.)
    • Engineering buildings
    • LAS buildings
    • (etc)

[edit] Explanation

For each building, it will have an article page. That article will be placed into both halves of the tree. It will be placed into [[Category:ISU buildings]] and it will be placed into an appropriate subcategory of [[Category:ISU places]]. Of course, any other categorizations would still be maintained (for example, GSB/IRHA constituency)

Example : Maple Hall would be placed directly into [[Category:ISU buildings]]. It would also be placed into [[Category:New RCA]]. [[Category:New RCA]] would logically be placed into [[Category:RCA]]. [[Category:RCA]] would logically be placed into [[Category:Residence halls]]. [[Category:Residence halls]] would logically be placed into [[Category:ISU places]].
