Glad I don't live here any more. The manager provided the bare minimum of maintenance, only repairing laundry machines after more than three calls. Parking places are supposed to be assigned, but the manager made residents responsible for calling tow trucks when our spaces are taken, leading to conflicts between residents and a nearby fraternity.
Hunziker is very bad about maintenance, though it depends on the property manager you get. The rent is expensive for the quality and location of the buildings.
When you move in, document the condition of everything with a digital camera, even little things like the inside of the stove and windowsills. Even if you note something specific like "6x4 inch stain on carpet near wall" on your move in sheet, Hunziker will try to tell you that you somehow magically made it worse, and try to charge you for damage caused before you moved in. The only way to deal with these people is to take lots of pictures at move-in, put them on a CD, and get someone to sign and date the CD. I am not joking around.
