The Graduate College is the college that administers advanced degrees at ISU. If you go to grad school at ISU, you will be a student of the Graduate College instead of the college that oversees your department. This college does not have its own full-time faculty or academic departments; it exists primarily to set standards and provide support services for graduate education. Instead, students and faculty involved with graduate issues are represented by a council of their peers that advises the College's administrators. There is also a student group that represents the College's students.

The head of the Graduate College is its dean, David Holger. His assistants are George Jackson and Carolyn Payne.
