The Government of the Student Body is the representative student institution for Iowa State University.
GSB's primary responsibility is to dispense student fees to the various student organizations. For that reason, the finance director is perhaps even more influential than the president.
GSB like the Federal Government is divided into three different branches Executive, Legislative and Judicial.

Current: Angela Groh
The president is the leader of GSB's executive branch.
One of the bonuses of being GSB president is free tuition.

Current: Chris Deal In the event that the GSB president is assasinated or found snorting lines off the cleavage of a Delta Delta Delta pledge, the VP takes over.

The finance director also gets free tuition, around the order of $14,000
