The Gerdin Business Building, pronounced jur-DEEN, has been the home of the College of Business since the Spring 2004 semster. The College previously made Carver Hall its home.
Gerdin contains 12 classrooms with wireless internet access, four computer labs, one large lecture hall, a cafe, team rooms, personal lockers, and ample study space.
All classrooms and computer labs, except the MIS computer lab (room 0330), are in the south wing of Gerdin. Department and organization offices are located in the east wing on the ground, first, and second floors. Instructor offices occupy the entire third floor.
It's easy to find a room in Gerdin. All rooms in the south wing of the building have a format of x1xx. All rooms in the northwest corner of the building are formatted x2xx. All rooms on the east wing of the building are formatted x3xx. For instance, the lecture hall in Gerdin is room 1148, the College of Business office is in room 2200, and the ISU College of Business Career Services center is in room 1320.
