Eric Bartlett is an associate professor of electrical engineering. He studied at the prestigious Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as a nuclear engineer and did that for a time before making his way to ISU in 1991. Nuclear engineering is much harder than teaching Circuits for Gearheads, so you could say he looks upon teaching as a sort of early retirement. His classes are usually pretty fun if nothing else.
