Electricity
From Rofflehaus
Electricity, for the vast majority of Ames, is provided through the City of Ames. REC provides electricity to the remaining areas.
You sign up by going to City Hall. Go in the main doors, ignore the windows to your left and go around the corner to the left and take the first door...on the left. You're now in a little entry way. There's some ladies there who will ask you want you want, because you look lost. You will say "I need to sign up for utilities" and they will point out the forms that have been sitting in front of you the whole time.
You will have to pay a bigass deposit. Sorry, bub, you just don't look too damn trustworthy.
Or just go to this page and sign up online. You still have to pay the bigass deposit, however.
