Destination Iowa State is touted as being a way for incoming freshmen to get acquainted with new people and their new surroundings at Iowa State. In reality, it's pretty pointless. You get a t-shirt with the words to the ISU Fight Song on the back (which instantly labels you as a newbie), and you get to do dumb activities with people you've never met. After it's all over, you'll see your group members around campus, but you won't be able to remember from where you know them.
