Des Moines Register

The Des Moines Register is the daily morning newspaper of Des Moines. A separate edition of the Register is sold throughout much of Iowa. As of March 31, 2005, the Register has a circulation of 150,907 for the daily edition and 239,367 for the Sunday edition.

Copies of the DMR are distributed freely to residence hall students as per the readership program.

A sportswriter, Rick Brown is brother of disgraced assistant basketball coach Randy Brown.

The Register is a avid recruiter of Iowa State Daily students.
