Daryle Vegge
From Rofflehaus
Daryle Vegge was the City Council member representing Ames' Third Ward. Taking the seat in 2001 when Ann Campbell stepped down after sixteen years on the Council, he defeated Bonnie Homstad in that election by 73 votes. He was up for re-election in the 2005 election, but lost his seat to local superhero Ryan Doll.
In his day job, Vegge works on the marketing staff of Sauer-Danfoss in Ames. In his free time, he coaches a junior hockey team.
[edit] Issues
In past speeches, Vegge has campaigned heavily for affordable housing in Ames. During his time on the Council, he has consistently voted in support of the new mall.
