Cafe Diem is on Main Street in downtown Ames. Serves the usual variety of coffee drinks, most notably those made with espresso (many of Ames finer restaurants suffer an appalling lack of an espresso machine).

Also serves light fare, such as pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, French toast, waffles.

Provides wireless internet access to patrons and has at least 3 dual-plug power outlets.
