If there were a "college bar" on Main Street, 212 Main would be it. Its relaxed with somewhat isolated seating and a bar, not much other room. They still managed to fit in a pool table,touchplay machine and a megatouch, though. They have a much different selection of beers on tap than most bars in Ames, plus happy hour and daily deals.
212 Main is owned by the Rivera family, the people behind Mojazz and Phuel.
